The NY-NoJ Chapter offers a number of training events to help develop future and current volunteer leaders. These include an annual 2-day Outdoor Leadership Training (OLT) course, as well as activity-specific training offered by some Activity Committees, such as Canoe & Kayak, Hiking and Backpacking. Different Activity Committees have different requirements of their volunteer leaders. If you are interested in becoming a leader or co-leader, please contact the Chairperson of the particular Activity Committee to find out what they require.
