Open Houses at NYC Office

 

Members and non-members welcome. Come meet an active member, ask questions about any AMC activity. Discuss how to choose a hike, what to bring, what to expect. Non-members may try out a hike or two; we will give you a list of trips in the next few weeks.

AMC Open Houses at Tent & Trails Store

Learn about the AMC and all the club has to offer. Meet with people from our chapter and talk to AMC leaders about hiking, canoeing and kayaking, and other outdoor activities. Learn about local hiking, including what to wear and what to bring, and why NY/NJ is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Light refreshments will be served.

When:

      Usually on a Tuesday at 6:30. No dates are currently scheduled. Check back here later.

       

Where:

Tents & Trails is located at 21 Park Pl between Broadway and Church St, near City Hall.

Your AMC membership card will  get you a 10% discount on all non-sale items at the store.

 

Orientation Sessions for New and Old Members

Join us for an in-depth discussion of how you can become involved and really enjoy your membership in AMC. We look forward to meeting you.

Orientation is Suspended for the Summer

Please come to an Open House at the office instead.

         Go to 2nd Avenue at 41st St and walk one block east.  Diagonally to your right is the
         entrance to an apartment building at 5 Tudor City Place.  We have a small office off
         the lobby.
