| Working on your state high points? Spruce Knob (4863') is the highest mountain in West Virginia, and has awesome fall foliage views from the summit. While there is a road up the mountain, we'll backpack on the Seneca Creek Trail (TR515), an easy 5 miles and renowned for its scenery. The next day, we'll ascend Spruce Knob via the Huckleberry Trail (TR533), which at 5.8 miles, gains 1755' in elevation. Meet at the trailhead at 9:00am.
