Facilities & Services


The Facilities & Services Committee is responsible for coordinating many of the the Chapter’s activities and programs other than hiking, backpacking, canoe/kayak, softball, climbing, among others.

F&S ensures our Trail Maintenance Supervisors have the tools and resources needed to maintain our region’s hiking and backpacking trails, as well as the Chapter’s programs and initiatives involving:

  • Conservation
  • Wilderness First Aid
  • Leadership and Leader Continuing Education
  • The Steven & Betsy Corman Harriman Outdoor Center
  • The Fire Island Cabin
