The New York-North Jersey Chapter’s 2020 Inspiration Award went to Rita Cohen. The Inspiration Award is for a member who embodies the spirit of our Chapter and inspires others by leading, mentoring or encouraging leadership or activity for AMC this year.
Rita has actively encouraged others to get involved with AMC. She opens up her walks for so many people and we are so grateful for her leadership and expertise. The award was announced at the Chapter’s Annual Meeting on November 18, 2020.

Congratulations Rita! This award is well deserved. You do so much for AMC and are greatly appreciated. I’ve enjoyed your walks and I look forward to doing so again once this pandemic is over. Hope all is safe and well!
